Release tickets close to event day without offering postal delivery. Buyers are shown where to collect their items instead.

    When to Use Collection-Only Tickets

    • Releasing additional tickets close to the event when postal delivery is no longer feasible
    • Events where physical items (BIB, race pack) must be collected on-site
    • Late-entry ticket types that should never show a postal option

    Setting Up

    1. Go to Manage Event → Tickets tab
    2. Add a new ticket type or edit an existing one
    3. Scroll to the "Collection Only" section and toggle it ON
    4. Enter the Collection Point Details (e.g., "Race HQ, Carlingford Marina, from 7:00am on race day")
    5. Save the ticket — the postal delivery option is automatically disabled

    What Buyers See

    • A "Collection Only" badge on the ticket card with the collection point info
    • No postal delivery toggle during checkout for collection-only tickets
    • If buying a mix of standard and collection-only tickets, postal delivery is only offered for standard tickets
    • Collection point details are shown prominently during checkout and on the ticket confirmation

    Important Notes

    • Enabling Collection Only automatically disables the Physical Ticket Posting option for that ticket type
    • You cannot have both postal delivery and collection-only enabled on the same ticket
    • The collection point details field supports free-text — include location, date, and time for clarity
