Create discount rules for team registrations to encourage group participation and increase your event registrations.

    Creating Team Discount Rules

    1. Navigate to your event in Organizer Dashboard
    2. Click "Manage" on your event
    3. Go to the "Team Pricing" tab
    4. Click "Add New Rule" to create a discount
    5. Configure the rule parameters

    Rule Configuration

For each discount rule, you can set:

    • Rule Name: e.g., "Small Team Discount" or "Corporate Group Deal"
    • Minimum Team Size: The smallest team size that qualifies
    • Maximum Team Size: The largest team size (optional, leave blank for no limit)
    • Discount Type: Percentage or Fixed Amount
    • Discount Value: The percentage off or dollar amount per ticket
    • Active Status: Toggle to enable/disable the rule without deleting it

    Discount Types Explained

    • Percentage: Reduces each ticket price by a percentage (e.g., 15% off)
    • Fixed Amount: Reduces each ticket price by a set dollar amount (e.g., $5 off per ticket)

    How Discounts Are Applied

When participants register for your event:

    • The system automatically detects team sizes
    • The highest applicable discount is applied
    • If multiple rules match, the best discount for the participant is used
    • Discounts are shown at checkout before payment
    • Team leaders see the discounted price per person

    Best Practices

    • Create tiered discounts: e.g., 10% for 5-9 people, 15% for 10-19, 20% for 20+
    • Use clear rule names that participants will understand
    • Test your rules by going through the registration flow
    • Promote team discounts in your event marketing
    • Consider corporate team deals for larger groups
    • Disable rules temporarily instead of deleting them to preserve data

    Example Discount Structures

    Common team discount setups:

    • Friends & Family: 10% off for 4-6 people
    • Small Team: 15% off for 7-12 people
    • Corporate Team: 20% off for 13-25 people
    • Large Organization: 25% off for 26+ people
