If your wallet credit doesn't cover the full registration cost, you can use a split payment — apply your credit first and pay the remainder by card.
When Can I Use Split Payment?
The "Use Credit + Pay Remainder" option appears automatically when:
- You have wallet credit from a previous cancellation, deferral, or refund
- Your credit is less than the total registration cost
- The event organizer has enabled wallet payments for this event
How It Works
- Go to the event and select your ticket
- Complete the registration form as normal
- On the Review & Payment step, you'll see three payment options
- Select "Use Credit + Pay Remainder" — it shows your credit amount and the card charge
- Click "Proceed to Payment" to open the card payment form
- Enter your card details for the remainder amount only
- Complete the payment — your wallet credit is deducted automatically
Example
If your ticket costs £88.20 and you have £79.00 in wallet credit:
- Wallet credit applied: £79.00
- Card payment required: £9.20
- You only enter card details for £9.20
Important Notes
- Your wallet credit is only deducted after the card payment succeeds
- If the card payment fails, no credit is deducted
- The full registration amount is reflected in your booking confirmation
- Split payments are processed securely through Stripe
- You'll receive a confirmation email once payment is complete
Troubleshooting
- If you don't see the split payment option, check that wallet payments are enabled for the event
- If your credit covers the full amount, use the "Wallet Balance" option instead
- Contact support if your credit balance appears incorrect
