When creating an event, you must select a currency that will apply to all ticket prices and donations.
How to Set Event Currency
- Start creating a new event
- In Step 1 (Event Information), find the "Currency" dropdown
- Select your preferred currency from the list
- Supported currencies include: USD ($), EUR (€), GBP (£), ZAR (R), AUD, CAD, NZD, JPY, CNY, INR
- Default currency is USD if not specified
Currency Impact
- All ticket prices display in the selected currency
- Early bird and late entry prices use the same currency
- Charity donation amounts are shown in event currency
- Financial reports and analytics use the event currency
- Currency ensures consistent pricing throughout registration
Important Notes
- Currency cannot be changed after event creation
- Choose carefully based on your target audience location
- For international events, consider your primary participant market
- All participants see prices in the same currency
Multi-Currency Events
If you need to accept payments in multiple currencies, you can create separate event listings for different regions, or contact support for enterprise multi-currency solutions.
