Control who can see your activities and race against your recorded performances with our privacy and ghost racing features.
Activity Visibility Settings
Choose who can see your activity history and results:
- Private: Only you can see your activities (default setting)
- Friends: People you follow can see your activities
- Public: Anyone can see your activities and results
Ghost Racing
Ghost Racing allows other participants to race against your recorded activities in real-time. This feature respects your privacy:
- You must set Activity Visibility to "Public" to enable ghost racing
- You must explicitly turn on "Allow Ghost Racing" in your settings
- Other participants will only see your pace data, not personal information
- You can disable ghost racing at any time in Settings
- Your activity replays are only visible when ghost racing is enabled
How to Enable Ghost Racing
- Go to Settings from your Participant Dashboard
- Find the "Privacy Settings" section
- Set Activity Visibility to "Public"
- Toggle on "Allow Ghost Racing"
- Click "Save Privacy Settings"
Push Notifications
Receive notifications for milestone achievements:
- Milestone celebrations trigger push notifications when enabled
- You control notification preferences in your device settings
- Notifications include your achievement percentage and motivational messages
- All notifications respect your privacy settings
Note: Ghost racing only works between users who have both enabled the feature and set their activities to public.
